How often should I get a physical?
If you are under the age of 40 and in good health without any chronic diseases, you should have a physical every 1-3 yrs.
If you are over the age of 40 or if you have chronic diseases, check with us to see how often we need to see you.
Can I get my work/travel required shots at the office?
Some immunizations are available at our office. Ask the provider what you require and we will take every step to help you.
Can I get my blood drawn at the office?
Many blood tests require you to be fasting for 8 hours; therefore, often you will be Sent to a blood drawing lab facility.
Will I always see the same doctor?
Our practice utilizes both nurse practitioners and physicians. Both providers are able to diagnose, prescribe therapy and order tests. We believe the collaboration of both will give you the best care. The focus of medicine is to cure. The focus of nursing is disease prevention and health promotion. So we encourage you to see both of our providers which will give you a more comprehensive outlook and help you to be more pro-active regarding your health.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
If you have an acute illness or injury that needs immediate attention, we can usually see you within one day. Physical exams and periodic visits for chronic disease are scheduled at specific intervals.
